Lavalife Mobile is a fun and convenient new way to click with singles locally and across North America. Search profiles of exciting singles and exchange text messages anywhere, anytime on your mobile phone, either via text messaging or via WAP. BACK TO QUESTIONS Is there an age requirement? You must be at 18 years of age or older to join Lavalife Mobile. BACK TO QUESTIONS Will Lavalife Mobile work on my phone? Lavalife Mobile works on most mobile phones. However, if you do not receive a reply within a few minutes after joining, your cell phone company may not be participating in Lavalife Mobile yet. JOIN = Set-up your Lavalife Mobile profile. MENU = Sends your new messages info. READ = Read your new messages. S = Search for matching nicknames. ME = Sends your profile to you to review. REDO = Redo your profile. QUIT = Stop receiving menu. Profile deleted. DELETE = Deletes all your messages. HELP = Sends us a request for help. BACK TO QUESTIONS How do I register? SMS TXT users: Use your Mobile Phone to send the text message "JOIN" to 25425 (CLICK). A reply message will take you through the brief set-up process including how to create your profile. WAP users: Look for Lavalife Mobile under CHATTING, DATING, MESSAGING or FLIRTING. You can register any time you are ready to send a message or read a message from somebody. BACK TO QUESTIONS How can I include a photo on my Lavalife WAP profile? There are two ways to include your photo: 1. You can e-mail a photo of yourself from your camera phone to photo@lavalife.com. To change your photo, send a new photo message to photo@lavalife.com. Remember to send photos from your own phone number. 2. You can e-mail a photo of yourself from any e-mail address to: photo@lavalife.com. Please include your cell phone number in the subject line and the photo as an attachment. These are some important requirements for your photo:   •  The photo must be of you and should not be offensive to others.   •  No one else may appear in the photo.   •  The photo must clearly display your face.   •  The photo cannot contain any contact information. BACK TO QUESTIONS How do I create a profile? After registering, you will be prompted to create a nickname, write a brief profile about yourself and enter your age and gender. Finally, you'll enter the age range of people you're interested in, and you'll be ready to receive profiles and start exchanging messages. BACK TO QUESTIONS What are the profile guidelines? To ensure an enjoyable service for all members, we have established the following guidelines for our review of profiles before we accept and post them. These do not represent every possible cause for us to reject a profile, but are intended to give you an idea of what is unacceptable on Lavalife Mobile. Profiles containing the following will not be posted:   •  profiles longer than 70 characters   •  graphic or explicit language   •  personal information (full name, email, telephone, ICQ#, url...)   •  comments directed at specific members or Lavalife itself   •  written in a language other than English or French   •  mention of illegal activities, violence or non-consensual acts   •  solicitation or any commercial activity   •  discriminatory text (racist, sexist, homophobic, ageist...) You will then receive the first five nicknames of people in the age range you're interested in who are also interested in people in your age range. Reply with "P" to be sent the first person's profile, or add a specific nickname to read that person's Profile - e.g., "P Maria". Reply with "NEXT" to get the next five nicknames. Sending Messages When you read a profile you're interested in, reply with "M" and your message, e.g., "M Hi Maria do u like 2 dance?" To respond to a message you've received from someone else, reply with "M" and your message. Receiving Messages To check for new messages send the word "MENU" to 25425. You'll receive a reply telling you how many new messages you've received. Reply with "READ" to read your new messages. Instant Messaging Instant message with someone by sending "INVITE" and their nickname, e.g., "INVITE MARIA". Once your invite is accepted, all messages during the instant chat will be sent directly to your Mobile Phone's inbox. Reply with "S" and your message, e.g., "S ur pretty" BACK TO QUESTIONS Why am I getting text alerts? Text alerts will tell you about new members who have just joined Lavalife Mobile and might match your profile.
